Wed, May 3 - 2023 Franklin Cruise-In Season Opener, 4:30 - 7:30 pm, Main Street Parking Lot in front of the Fire Station, downtown Franklin. Mark your calendars for the start of the 2023 Franklin Cruise-In season. Weekly cruise-ins will be starting Wednesday, May 3, 2023 and continuing each Wednesday until October 11, 2023. The Franklin Independence Day Celebration with the City of Franklin and Franklin Experience will be on Wednesday, June 28th with fireworks and a live band. The Grand Finale will be on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

We are back at Doumar’s, all are invited! Please join us for some cars at a weekly cruise-in every Wednesday night. They are open during these hours, so enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! Be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, and no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot.
Thu, May 4 - Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.
Thu, May 4 - (1st Thu) Cars 'n' Chicken Cruise-in, 7 - 9:00 pm, Hosted by Seven Cities Camaro Club, Wild Wing Café, 1437 Sam's Drive, Chesapeake. Come join us on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month. Come spend your Friday Eve at Cars 'n' Chicken, and join us on the patio for chicken and entertainment. All makes, years, and models encouraged to attend. Help support local charities by coming and spending some money on chicken. End of year proceeds are donated to the local charities supported by the Seven Cities Camaro Club. Fri, May 5 - (1st Fri) Smithfield Ruritans 1st Fridays Cruise-Ins, 5 - 8:00 pm, Luter Sports Complex, 900 West Main St., Smithfield. The Smithfield Ruritan Club will be starting their 1st Friday cruise-ins on April 7 from 5-8 pm at Luter Sports Complex, 900 W. Main Street (Route 258), Smithfield. It is only a $2.00 donation to show your vehicle. There is no admission fee for spectators. All cruise-in donations are donated to local charities. Sat, May 6 - Fort Monroe Cruise In, 5 - 9:00 pm, 81 Patch Rd, Fort Monroe, Hampton. With the cooler weather, we are using the bigger lot with the light poles. All makes and models welcome. Kid and pet friendly. Please use the parking spots, as intended. As always, no revving, burnouts, loud music, etc. Please dispose of all trash in the dumpster. This is across from a police station, so mind your manners when entering/leaving. Speed limit is 25mph on all of Fort Monroe. Come hang out!

MCT will hold our Annual Spring Fling Mustang Birthday Car Show on April 15th, 2023. We happily welcome all years, makes and models of passenger cars, trucks, and motorcycles to participate in this show. This is a family friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids so they can enjoy the show! Registration will be on site and is $20.00 + two cans of non-perishable food per vehicle. The food will be donated to a local food bank, so please be generous. There is no charge for spectators, who will be directed to parking adjacent to the show vehicle parking area. This is a Participant's Choice show, with 25 Participant’s Choice awards, and 3 top awards for Best in Show, Dealer’s Choice, and Club Participation. Vendor spaces are available for a $25.00 fee. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.
