NEW THIS YEAR: We will have 3 classes of vehicles at registration. Under 1972 cars and trucks; 1972 and newer cars and trucks; Motorcycle (2 and 3 wheeled vehicles). Fri, May 20 - Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers: Let’s Talk Cars, Truck, & Motorcycles, 5:30 pm, Main Street Center, Gloucester. Yes, MPCC has moved the cruise-in back to FRIDAY! The cruise-in is from 6 pm to 30 minutes after dusk Friday nights to October 14, 2016. Donations of $1.00 or more is asked to help support the donations MPCC provides to local organizations and charities. The cruise-in is open at all makes, models, and years. Weekly Cruiser of the Week trophies will be awarded!

This is not a Church event, but they have graciously allowed us to use the lot. Classic cars, Hotrods, and Trucks, bring your classic and show it off! A donation of $2 per vehicle to help with the expense of the portable restroom and keeping the lot free of trash is appreciated. There will be soft drinks and snacks available for purchase. Sun, May 22 - Cruise For The Blue, Eggheads Diner, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Gloucester Point Shopping Center.  A cruise by local car and motorcycle clubs to demonstrate support for law enforcement and honor fallen State Trooper Chad Dermyer. Pre-cruise activities from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The cruise will depart Eggheads Diner at 2 pm and proceed north on Route 17 to Main Street, through the Courthouse Circle to Route 17, then south on Route 17 to the Home Depot parking lot at 6921 Walton Lane, Gloucester.

We were super successful last year with the donations from the car meet we had so we got permission to do it again this year. Costco will match every donation $ for $. Please act responsible and police your trash. All Costco asks is that you donate some cash while your here. No set amount. Last year with only 4 days planning we raised almost $1200. This year we would love to exceed this. Just stop by hangout and check out some locals cars. This event is to raise awareness to the “Stop The 22” organization, and to let vets and active military members know there is help. And what better way to do so than with our passions? Cars, people. Cars. And thanks to the people at Density Vapors we are hosting the first of, hopefully many, annual charity car shows. We will have vendors, prize raffles, a 50/50 draw, and live music. This show is a fundraiser for a wonderful little girl named Ella. Ella was born with a rare condition known as bilateral microtia artresia. She was born with undeveloped ears. Ella and her parents will be going to California where specialists will construct ears for Ella. All proceeds from this event will help pay for Ella’s surgery. Sat/Sun, June 4/5 - Summerfest 2016 2-Day Open Track Event, North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR Inc.),310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, North Carolina. 
Capital Ford of Rocky Mount, the Virginia Section of Mercedes-Benz Club America (MBCA) and Apex Track Events will host a High Speed Driving Event on the NCCAR’s road course. This road course is ideally situated and features a 40 feet wide bi-directional freshly paved road course with a ½ mile straightaway, 11 constant radius turns and large grassy run-off areas. There is no competition for times or trophies but a lot of fun to be had. Virtually any car is fully capable of handling this type of event. You must have a valid driver’s license to attend. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. All you need to bring is this and a Snell SA2010 or later helmet.  We will have a handful of loaner helmets available at a first come, first served basis. We will have an at track safety inspection at the hotel on Friday night and at the track on Saturday and Sunday morning.  (You will only have to get your car teched one time for the weekend so if you get teched on Saturday, you will not have to be re-teched on Sunday. This event is open to all makes and models and you do not have to be a MBCA club member to participate. There will be a weekend of track time and classroom instruction with 4 to 5 sessions lasting 20-25 minutes per day in a non-timed HPDE set up. Car sharing is allowed with separate registration for each driver. This event is sure to sell out so you should register soon. The price for the two-day weekend event at the race track is $299. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.  http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/

The Old Dominion Region (Number 63) is part of the Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 4426 Tidewater Trail, Jamaica, VA  23079 ½-mile clay surface with 14 degree banking in both corners and 4 degrees on the front and back stretch.
