Wed, Oct 28 - (Weekly) Doumar's cruise-in, 6 - 8:00 pm, Hosted by The Mustang and Ford Association of Virginia, Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave., Norfolk. Please join us for some cars at a weekly cruise-in every Wednesday night, 28 October will be our last this year! All are invited! Bring your rides out and have some fun. They are open during these hours, so enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! Be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, and no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot. Hope to see you there!

Thu, Oct 29 - (Weekly) Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.
Fri, Oct 30 - (Weekly) Friday Night Hardee's Cruise-Ins, 4 - 8:00 pm, Hardee's at 7007 George Washington Hwy (Route 17), Gloucester. We will be having Friday Night Cruise-ins from 4-8 pm. At this time, the restaurant is open for take-out orders only. Come on out and see some cool cars and hang out with other car folks.

Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers hold a weekly cruise in (weather permitting) from April through October. All years, makes and models welcome. Family Friendly Fun, Oldies Music, and Car Talk. Cruiser of the week award presented 30 minutes before dusk. Free for everyone, donations are appreciated and benefit CHKD.

Hardees Cruise-Ins have started up again, every Saturday Weekly gathering of car enthusiasts at Hardee's in Suffolk. Get those hot rods out and come see some cool cars and join us for some good fellowship, and have a great time hanging out with friends. If it's cold, we hangout inside.
Sat, Oct 31 - Spooky Slides Trunk or Treat, 3:00 - 10:00 pm Southampton Motor Speedway, 16388 Southampton Pkwy., Capron, Southampton County. It's time to get Spooky at Southampton Motor Speedway! We have our two day event weekend with games, fun, and pumpkin smashing carnage on Saturday, followed by our Open Drift on Sunday. We will have drifting both days, with a few added activities on Saturday to make your Halloween one to remember. Our fun filled schedule on Saturday includes a Trunk or Treat for kids of all ages, a Costume Contest for Best Costume on a Person and an award for Best Car Costume, and once the sun goes down we will set up our hanging pumpkins and see which drifter can smash the most in our Crowd Judged competition! Gates open for vendors and drivers/crew at 8 am, with a drivers mtg at 9:45, and drifting starts at 10 am. Gates open for spectators at 3 pm, with the Trunk or Treat from 5 - 7 pm. Drift games run from 7 - 10 pm. As always, kids 12 and under are FREE with paying adult! Driver presale tickets will close Thursday, October 29th at Midnight, and gate prices for driver tickets will be as follows - Saturday $160, Sunday $125, Weekend $225. Spectator tickets will remain $20 online or at the gate.

Sat, Nov 14 - Toys for Tots Hampton Roads Official Toy Collection Day and MCT All Makes and Models Car Show, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3312 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. The Mustang Club of Tidewater, in conjunction with the US Marine Corps Reserve, is proud to announce we will be holding our Third Annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Hampton Roads Official Toy Collection Day and Mustang Club of Tidewater All Makes and Models Car Show! We invite you to participate as an entrant or spectator, but if you cannot, there will be a Drive-Through Drop Off Lane for the community to make in person donations at the Toy Collection Event site! To that end, please pass the word to family, friends, and coworkers to help us collect as many toys as possible and other donations that we can, in order to support the kids in Hampton Roads this holiday season! Please keep in mind that all donations are kept and disbursed here in the Hampton Roads area, so we’re supporting our own community. Admission: The registration fee for vehicles entering the car show is $20, plus at least 1 new, unwrapped toy, for donation to the Toys for Tots Hampton Roads program. The first 100 registered vehicles will receive a Dash Plaque for the show. We will be keeping tally of the number of toys donated by each registrant and club/group. There is NO Pre-Registration for this show. All registration payments and toy collections will happen at the show site. Part of the SCCA's Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Our Region includes all the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surrounding cities. We primarily host two types of events: Solo (Auto Cross) and Road Rally.

Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on a weeknights while still ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun!

Divisions: Victory Lap Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds, Limited Stock Car, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, World of Outlaws Late Models, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, and mud bogs. Virginia Motor Speedway runs on select Saturday nights April through the first week of October, Closed on RIR NASCAR weekends (check website for schedule of events).
