Wed, Apr 17 - (Weekly) Doumar's cruise-in, 6 - 8:00 pm, Hosted by The Mustang and Ford Association of Virginia, Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave., Norfolk. We are back at Doumar’s, all are invited! Please join us for some cars at a weekly cruise-in every Wednesday night. They are open during these hours, so enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! Be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, and no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot.
Wed, Apr 17 - MCT Mustang 60th Birthday Cruise-In and Celebration, 6 - 9:00 pm, Bubba's 33 Greenbrier, 1725 Debaun Avenue, Chesapeake. As part of the world-wide celebration of the Ford Mustang's 60th Birthday, the Mustang Club of Tidewater will be holding a Cruise-In at Bubba's 33. Participation in this cruise-in is open to all years and models of the Ford Mustang, from 1964.5 to current, including base coupes, Fastbacks, GT's, Mach 1's, Mustang II's, Boss's, Cobras, Saleen's, Shelbys, Dark Horses, Mach E's, and every other type of car bearing the Ford Mustang name. The more the merrier!! We will have dedicated parking on the patio side of the building for our Mustangs to be displayed as we celebrate the heritage of our Ponies!! Note: You do not need to be an MCT member to participate. There is no need to register - simply show up! This event is open to the public. It doesn't matter what you drive; you're welcome to visit and check out all the different years and models of the Mustangs we have present for this event. This is a Kid-Friendly event, so please bring the young one's out to have fun as well. Please be careful around the cars as not to inadvertently scratch or otherwise damage them.
Thu, Apr 18 - (Weekly) Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.
Thu, Apr 18 - (3rd Thu) Cruise and Brews, 6:30 pm, Hosted by The Seven Cities Camaro Club, MoMac Brewing Company, 3228 Academy Ave., Portsmouth. Join 7CCC for our cruise in and some local beers at MoMac Brewing. Food truck will be available, along with pizza and Chinese restaurants in the shopping center. Every third Thursday at 630 pm. We usually take over the patio area. Look for Chevy or Camaro T-Shirts or hats....lol. If you're going to drink, drink responsibly. No Burnouts or any other Childish Shenanigans.

Reiterating what's been talked lately about how work having picked up for me and wanting to come back out again, we are now switching to Friday nights, come on out and have a good time, trying get the dust off the camera with the sun being out for a good bit at the start and need some new photos for the flyers. Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on a weeknights while still ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun!
