Track will be open until at least 11 pm. Entry fee is $10 for the night. Or free if you already have a monthly membership. RWD and AWD drift cars are both welcome to slide. Sat, Feb 25 - Mav Fab Saturday night car meet, MaverickFabrication, 7:00 pm, 605B Rotary St., Hampton. We are having another Saturday night car meet at our shop! Plenty of parking for all makes and models in our parking lot and up and down our entire street! There will be music, video games and of course cars to gaze upon! The weather is expected to clear up around 6pm Saturday and should make for a nice meet! If the turnout is as large as last time we might break out the fire pit and grill! Last Meet was huge featuring several different car groups and even bikes! As always please be respectful and drive safely around our shop and the roads nearby.

The TRAACA 2017 Annual Swap Meet promises to be the biggest ever, with extensive advertisement and promotional activities. As one of the only Winter events for car collectors  and enthusiasts in the Tidewater area, it attracts a wide variety of customers and vendors. Access to the swap meet is free. Individuals desiring access to the Military Air Museum will need to pay the normal Museum admission fee. Sat, Mar 18 - FIRST Night Moves 2017 Meet, Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Regional Training Center, 7 - 10:00 pm, 2044 Landstown Centre Way, Virginia Beach. Sumospeed presents season 3 of Night Moves meets at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. As with last year, there will be an entry cover of $5.00 for the meet. This helps us cover rental of the property, bathrooms, and other features of the event. For 2017 we again will have Dj El Capone playing music each night, HobbyTown USA Virginia Beach VA on site each month with some RC drift action and of course Sumospeed with event merchandise for you to purchase. Chops Creative will be there yet again for our official Night Moves coverage this season. The same rules apply as last season: No revving, No speeding or burnouts in the parking lot, No excessively loud music or bass, Clean up after yourselves, we are all adults, No alcohol, If you have any questions or concerns about the above conditions, VBPD will be on hand to address them. We will also be adding a new feature this year, in which you can enter your vehicle into a contest each month, to be our feature vehicle of the month, and win free entry for the night as well as VIP parking on the sidewalk in front of the sportsplex! Sat-Sun, Apr 1-2 - ApexFest 2: Two Day Open Track Event, NCCAR, hosted by Apex Track Events, 310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, North Carolina. This is our first event of 2017! We will update more information as we get closer to the event. On April 1st and 2nd 2017, Apex Track Events will host ApexFest 2, a two day High Speed Driving Event on North Carolina’s Center for Automotive Research’s road course. This road course is ideally situated in Garysburg, NC, so it is an ideal location for people from Raleigh, Richmond, and Hampton Roads to attend. The track is a 40 feet wide bi-directional freshly paved road course with a ½ mile straightaway, 11 constant radius turns and large grassy run-off areas. There is no competition for times or trophies but a lot of fun to be had. Virtually any car is fully capable of handling this type of event. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. PCC’s annual event for ADVANCED/SOLO Drivers, club racers, and race teams on VIR’s Full Course. This event offers a maximum track exposure of up to four (4) hours per day, advanced class sessions related to high performance driving with an option to request an instructor/coach or bring your own individual coach pending approval. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.  http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/

Sat-Sun, Apr 1-2 - ApexFest 2: Two Day Open Track Event, NCCAR, hosted by Apex Track Events, 310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, North Carolina. This is our first event of 2017! We will update more information as we get closer to the event. On April 1st and 2nd 2017, Apex Track Events will host ApexFest 2, a two day High Speed Driving Event on North Carolina’s Center for Automotive Research’s road course. This road course is ideally situated in Garysburg, NC, so it is an ideal location for people from Raleigh, Richmond, and Hampton Roads to attend. The track is a 40 feet wide bi-directional freshly paved road course with a ½ mile straightaway, 11 constant radius turns and large grassy run-off areas. There is no competition for times or trophies but a lot of fun to be had. Virtually any car is fully capable of handling this type of event. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas.
