Wed, Sep 27 - 2023 Wednesday Franklin Cruise-In, 4:00 - 7:00 pm, Main Street Parking Lot in front of the Fire Station, downtown Franklin. Mark your calendars for the 2023 Franklin Cruise-In season. Weekly cruise-ins will continue each Wednesday until October 11, 2023. The Franklin Independence Day Celebration with the City of Franklin and Franklin Experience will be on Wednesday, June 28th with fireworks and a live band. The Grand Finale will be on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Wed, Sep 27 - Doumar's Weekly Cruise in, 6 - 8:00 pm, Hosted by The Mustang and Ford Association of Virginia, Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave., Norfolk. We are back at Doumar’s, all are invited! Please join us for some cars at a weekly cruise-in every Wednesday night. They are open during these hours, so enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! Be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, and no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot.
Thu, Sep 28 - Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.

Kid and pet friendly. Please use the parking spots, as intended. As always, no revving, burnouts, loud music, etc. Please dispose of all trash in the dumpster. This is across from a police station, so mind your manners when entering/leaving. Speed limit is 25mph on all of Fort Monroe. Come hang out!

This show is open to all cars, trucks, motorcycles, slingshots, and hot rods, old or new, stock or custom, driven or trailered. We want to see your vehicles! This is a Participant's Choice show. ALL vehicles that enter the show area must register and display a registration/vendor placard with their entry number, name, and vehicle description. Dash plaques will be provided to the first 100 registered participants. All entrants will be given a Top 25 Choice sheet to complete and submit. A Best in Show Trophy and 25 Participant's Choice trophies will be awarded based on the cumulative results of your picks. There will also be top honor trophies awarded by VFW VA District 2, Show Sponsors, and one for Best Club Participation. The judged vehicle entry fee is $25.00, and we ask for a donation of a minimum of 2 cans of non-perishable food to support a local food bank. Registration will only take place at the show location. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.
