An informal cruise-in starting at Revolution Golf & Grille on High Street in Williamsburg. The cruise will start at 5:00 and end whenever. This will be a regular Friday occurrence as long as weather permits.

Sat, Feb 29 - 2019 River Oak C4 Cruise-In, 8 - 9:30 am, Hosted by the men of River Oak Church, 255 Great Bridge Blvd., Chesapeake. Join the monthly gathering happening the 4th Saturday every month at River Oak Church. Owners and lookers welcome, it’s all free – free to show, free to look, free to eat, (donuts & coffee). Sat, Mar 14 - Sumospeed Night Moves 2020, 5 - 10:00 pm, TCC Chesapeake, 1428 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake. We are excited to be coming back in 2020 with 5 Night Moves meet at a brand new location. The MASSIVE parking garage belonging to Tidewater Community College on Cedar road in Chesapeake. This garage features 1224 parking spaces on 4 decks, ample lighting, and an overall great location. each meet will feature a DJ, food trucks, vendors, and a plenty of outstanding vehicles to check out! This venue has required a lot of time and legwork to secure, and we only ask that you please respect the venue and us by behaving in a mature manner also being aware of your surroundings with the numerous people and vehicles present in the building. Sat, Mar 21 - Sumospeed Yahtzee Run 2020 Opener, 12 - 7:00 pm, 3490 E Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. We are excited to announce our opening Yahtzee Run for 2020! For those unfamiliar, these events are much like a traditional poker run, but with Yahtzee! ??TUTORIAL ON GAME PLAY  Our reason for this is the change of pace, and that with Yahtzee, every player has a chance to win the game all the way until the very last stop, unlike a poker run with which a lot of times you'll know a couple of stops in that your chances are slim. Our slate of stops, will be added shortly but the opening stop for check in and the first turn will be Rent a Lift's second location at 3490 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk. Players will check in at the first stop, play their first turn, then move from stop to stop, playing turns at each. The highest scores of the day will win a portion of the pot. Each registration will also include an event tee and limited edition sticker. These items MUST be picked up AT the event, we are not shipping any out. Sat, Mar 21 - Fort Monroe Saturday Night Cruise In, 6 - 10:00 pm, Hosted by Barney’s Auto Repair, at The Oozlefinch Craft Brewery parking lot, 81 Patch Rd, Fort Monroe, Hampton. This year, we plan on trying something different. Instead of a weekly meet, and a lot of people showing up differently from week to week, we are going to be hosting these gatherings the SECOND and LAST Saturday of each month. All makes and models welcome. Hot rods, classics, exotics, cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Come out and enjoy some great craft beer over at Oozlefinch and checkout some cars. As always, a family friendly environment. Large lot, plenty of parking. We are aiming for March for the first meet up, but may be April. Weather permitting.

Get your RWD drift machines tuned up because it is time for our 2020 Winter Points Series! Drifters will accumulate points at each event they attend based off their event finishing position. The top 3 drifters with the most points after the event will be our 2020 Points Series Champions! Event dates: (subject to change) Sat, Mar 28th - Tandem Competition; Sat, Apr 25th - Finals!! - Tandem Competition. Drifters get to drop their lowest event score, so if you can't make all 4 events you still have a shot at winning!

Sat, Mar 28 - FIRST Landstown Commons Cruise In, 4 - 8:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3334 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Saturday night cruise-in happening every Saturday night from April through October 2019 at Landstown Commons Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. Live DJ music with DVC Entertainment. All makes, years, and models encouraged to attend. Bring out your work in progress and share what you’re working on! Donation of $2 per vehicle to display as part of the Cruise-In. Free spectator parking and attendance. End of year proceeds are donated to the charities of the hosting car clubs choice. This is a well organized and laid-back event with something for everyone to enjoy!

Fri, Apr 3 - FIRST Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In, 6 - 8:00 pm, Sentara Therapy Center - St. Lukes, 20209 Sentara Way, Carrollton. The Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In will be starting its 12th season running through October 16th on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. We will be at Sentara St. Luke's again this year. Come on out and enjoy some good music, good food, and see some really cool cars. Don't forget to check us out at Lions Club Cruz-In. Sat, Apr 4 - Spring Model Contest, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Hosted by HobbyTown (Virginia Beach, VA), 4000 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Suite 196, Virginia Beach. It's model contest time! Bring out your best completed scale model kit for a chance to become the local model building champ! Contest is FREE to enter and all model types are welcome. We will break model entries into categories for judging. Upon arrival all you have to do is fill out an entry form, place your model on the judging table, and then you are in! Each model category will have one winner who will be crowned "Best of Class". There will also be an overall "Best Paint" winner and an overall "Best of Show" winner. If you cannot stay for the entire event don't worry! You can drop your model off anytime before 2:30pm and then pick it up anytime before the store closes at 6pm. You do not have to be present with your model to win. Event Schedule: 10 am - Registration and Model drop off; 2:30 pm - Judging; 3 pm - Awards; 3:30 pm - Model pickup. Good luck and happy modeling!

Please join us for a weekly cruise-in, every Wednesday night at Doumar's in Norfolk. Please note they are open during these hours to enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! *Most of all, please be on your absolute best behavior at their facility, as they have been kind enough to allow us to hold this event there. This means- be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot. We want to continue to be welcome there, and these are some extremely nice folks. Those who do not follow the rules will be asked to not come back.*

Sat, Apr 18 - The First 2020 Classic Cruiser Cruise-Ins, 4:30 pm, Coastal Community Church, 101 Village Ave., Yorktown. Classic Cruiser’s cruise-ins will take place every Saturday night beginning April 18 thru October 17. It is open to all years, all makes, and all models. If it’s cool, bring it. It is only a $2.00 donation to show your vehicle. There is no admission fee for spectators. All cruise-in donations are donated to charity. It is a great place to listen to some great tunes played by our DJs, look at some great rides, see your old friends, and make some new ones. George was a vital part of the Landstown Cruise-Ins, and we are proud to remember him with an annual event. George also served on the board of the Beachcomber Corvette Club served as the president if the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads. This will be an all years, makes, and models event with awards. Portion of proceeds will benefit a charity that George believed in, the Southeastern Food Bank. we will be accepting all non perishable food items for the food bank. Sat, May 9 - Charity Car Show and Pie Eating Contest with, 10:00 am - 3;00 pm, Hosted by 757 Auto Events, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3334 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Join us for an action packed day of cool cars, bikes, and trucks with a Kid's Coloring Contest, and a fun Pie Eating contest! This will be an all years, makes, and models event with awards. Proceeds will benefit, a local charity that spreads the word and the love of God as a missionary. They are a great supporter of many local charity events, and we a re proud to help host a show for them. Landstown Commons Shopping Center is providing us with dash plaques for the event. May 30 - VB Strong Memorial Car/Truck and Light Show, 3 - 9:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3334 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Join US Flag Runners VA Division, Cardinal Car Club, and 757 Auto Events as we host an all makes and models charity car show at Landstown Commons Shopping Center. 1 Year later we all try to resume normal lives, but this tragedy continues to affect our community. This annual event will serve for "us" to heal while commemorating lives lost in 2019. We are looking for all forms of support for this event. All event proceeds benefit charity. Make plans to stop by, or spend the day with us for a judged car show with 45+ awards. This event is free and open to spectators, and we will be accepting donations throughout the day towards our fundraiser.

Driver's will be bumped up or down depending on skill level shown during the morning sessions. This is an open-practice format. Maximum seat time and aggressive style driving. Drift Games will be held at Lunch.  Most importantly, prepare to have fun, and drive so much you'll be exhausted!  :)  Get ready to learn! SPECTATORS WELCOME! $10 adults, $5 kids and under 3 is free! Pet friendly, but please pick up after them! TICKETS available the day of at the registration tent! The Tanso Solo-Entry Challenge will be 100% focused on you displaying your progression!  

Sun, Mar 8 /  Twin-Drift Challenge 2020 Round 1 Team Drift Event, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Welcome to Drifting Series' Twin-Drift Challenge. 32 drivers, 16 teams. This event consists of Teams of 2. These 2 drivers will do their best try to impress the judges with their driving skill to mirror each other perfectly; TWIN DRIFT! Teams of 2 Drivers will qualify into a TOP 16 Team Bracket and teams will go head to head in a bracket style format to knock each other off and advance to the next round! This is a friendly competition amongst friends! NOTE: if your team normally consists more than 2, you can have 2 groups from your team enter separately! Which PAIR of Drivers will take home the title of TWIN-DRIFT CHAMPION!!

We give classroom training to new high performance drivers then put trained instructors in the car with students to reinforce and build upon that knowledge

Sat-Sun, Mar 28-29 / ApexFest 8 Track Weekend / NCCAR, 310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, NC  -  Apex Track Events and SCMC will host our High Speed Driving Event called ApexFest 8! This event is open to all makes and models and you do not have to be a club member to participate. There will be a full day of track time and classroom instruction with 4-5 sessions in a non-timed HPDE set up. Car sharing is allowed with separate registration for each driver. This event will fill very quickly, so you will need to place your entry soon. The price for this fun at the race track is $179 for one day or only $299 for both days! Instructors will be able to track for no charge. All we ask is that you help one novice student and one intermediate student. Driving History/Experience will be verified for all Instructors. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to track veteran. We split drivers up into 4 experience groups: One of the four groups will be dedicated to novice students who will be required to have in car instructors. You will get up to 5 sessions per day with time between to cool down your car and socialize with other drivers.  This also includes classroom instruction and in car instruction for Novice and some Intermediate drivers. You must have a valid driver's license to attend. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. All you need to bring is this and a Snell SA2010 or later helmet.

Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) - Old Dominion Region
Part of the SCCA's Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Our Region includes all of the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surrounding cities. We primarily host two types of events: Solo (Auto Cross) and Road Rally.

Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

  1. We have had to change the location for the York High School Car Show on March 21st due to the fire at the Grafton Complex (students attend school on Saturdays now). We will be at Waters Edge Church at 6830 George Washington Memorial Highway just 2.5 miles South of the High School on the same side of Route 17! Tell your friends.
