Cars & Coffee Great Bridge is held on the third Saturday of every month at Great Bridge United Methodist Church. Join us for "Car Talk", coffee and a donut or two at the Church from 8 to 10 am.
Sat, Feb 16 - (3rd Sat) Cars & Coffee Newport News, Village Square Shopping Center, 9 - 11:00 am, 5007 Victory Blvd., Yorktown. Car enthusiasts of all kinds are welcome! Family friendly. This is an informal cruise-in for enthusiast of all makes, models and years, cars and trucks the second Saturday each month from to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Note: Coffee and tables available at Uno on the patio. Rainout date is always the next Sunday with good weather. Please follow this short, but strongly enforced set of rules: No revving, no Burnouts, no loud music, no parking in loading/fire zones, no double parking. Please be respectful of everyone most of all.

Sat, Feb 16 - Mystery Cruise, Hosted by Car Club Council of Hampton Roads, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm, Greenbrier Mall, Crossways Blvd., Cheaspeake. We will meet at Greenbrier Mall at 0930 with a departure at 1000 for our destination. Come with a full tank of fuel. This trip will be approximately 2 hours one way to our destination. We will divide up into groups of 5-7 cars with a lead car who is responsible for that group.

Sat, Feb 23 - Sumospeed Yahtzee run 2019 series, 12 - 6:00 pm, Virginia Beach. After the great success we had with the return off our Yahtzee runs 2018, we are bringing them back again in 2019 and adding a third! We will be hosting one in the winter, spring, and fall. All registration will be handled through our bigcartel page again and each registration submitted within the proper period will receive an event tee shirt with their registration at check in on the day of the event. Join us for our Winter RC Drift Tandem Series! Event takes place at our indoor drift track which is located right next to the store. Doors open at 10 am and the competition portion of the event starts at 1 pm. RWD 1/10th scale drift cars only. Standard track entry fee applies for this event. Drivers will be awarded points based on their finish position at each event. Lowest series event score will be dropped at the conclusion of the series. Top 3 drivers that have the most points at the end of the series win. Trophies will be awarded for top 3 finishers at each series event. Mark your calendars and come get sideways!

It is not a general “flea market” and we do not wish to have crafts, household items, unrelated toys, clothing, equipment, supplies or services displayed. The 2019 Classic Cruiser’s cruise-in will take place every Saturday night beginning April 13 thru October 19. It is open to all years, all makes, and all models. If it’s cool, bring it. It is only a $2.00 donation to show your vehicle. There is no admission fee for spectators. All cruise-in donations are donated to charity. It is a great place to listen to some great tunes played by our DJs, look at some great rides, see your old friends, and make some new ones. Sat, Mar 16 - Sumospeed Night Moves, 5 - 10:00 pm, Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Regional Training Center, 2044 Landstown Centre Way, Virginia Beach. Welcome back to Sumospeed Night Moves! For 2019 we are changing things up a bit. We have reduced the number of meets we are doing from 9 to 5, but increasing the length of each meet from 3 hours to 5, with them starting at 5 pm and running until 10 pm (our 2 Friday dates will run from 6 to 10 pm). Each event will also have a theme related to the time of the month and year that they are taking place. This month is: St. Patrick's Day! We will have more details about each of these meets as we get closer to them. We do ask that all those attending please respect each other, the venue, our staff, and the officers on site by refraining from excessive revving, burnouts, racing, speeding, and other activities that could jeopardize these events or our good standing with the venue. Pricing remains as it has been, at $5 per car for the paved lots, free for gravel. See everyone in March!

Join us as we celebrate the memory of a local car enthusiast who passed away December 28, 2018. George was a vital part of the Landstown Cruise-Ins, and we are proud to remember him with an annual event. George also served on the board of the Beachcomber Corvette Club served as the president if the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads. This will be an all years, makes, and models event with awards. stay tuned as events develop. Portion of proceeds will benefit A charity that George believed in, the Southeastern Food Bank. Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) - Old Dominion Region
Part of the SCCA's Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Founded in 2000, we are an autosport events company servicing the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Our goal is to provide a variety of legal, organized, safety-minded road-racing and education-based high performance driving experiences for as many sports car enthusiasts as possible.

A ½-mile clay surface with 14 degree banking in both corners and 4 degrees on the front and back stretch. Divisions: Victory Lap Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds, Limited Stock Car, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, World of Outlaws Late Models, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and mud bogs. This is a unique beginner-level driving experience designed to familiarize you with our road course and introduce basic high performance driving concepts. It includes classroom instruction with a professional driving coach and several 20-30 minute on track sessions in your car. Sessions feature paced laps for those who just want to experience what it's like on a real road course with no helmets and no passing.

Sun, Mar 10 / Trackcross #1, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a full-day fast autocross on a twisty section of road course with no cones and no work assignments – rain or shine. It is perfect for those who enjoyed our Track Attack and want to try the next step: wide open track as fast as they can safely drive it against the clock in short bursts. An entry is just $99 in advance or $129 day-of. Registration is limited to 80 cars (two long 40-car-maximum heats in the morning then each group again in the afternoon) so everyone gets plenty of runs.
