Sat, Mar 3 - (1st Sat) Cars and Coffee Virginia Beach, hosted by Java Surf, La Promenade Shops, 6 - 9:00 am, 1860 Laskin Rd., Virginia Beach. Sponsored by American Do It Yourself Garage of Virginia Beach - find them on Facebook. This is an organized but casual gathering of car enthusiasts ($3 per car), normally the first Saturday each month to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Hosted by Java surf CafĂ© & Espresso Bar, at La Promenade Shops in the West Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, which features ample parking (no parking in spots for the Massage Lux Spa). Please be courteous to the businesses in the shopping center and leave the lot promptly by 9 am.

We turn our activity room into a 1/10th scale drift track. Event is always free and all skill levels are welcome. Track layout is different each time making it always fun and challenging. The perfect chance to meet fellow RC drifters, better your drifting skills, and have fun!

Wed, Mar 7 - Slot Car Racing, HobbyTown USA Virginia Beach VA, 6 - 8:00 pm, 4000 Virginia Beach Blvd., Ste. 196, Virginia Beach. It's race time! Join us every Wednesday for slot car racing on our computerized 1/32nd scale slot car track. Just bring out your own car and controller and have some fun! Event is free and open to all skill levels. 

Wed, Mar 7 - Abandoned Vehicle Auction, Hosted by Naval Station Norfolk, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, 1530 Gilbert St., Norfolk. All vehicles have been abandoned on the Naval Station and are sold as is. There is no guarantee that the vehicles will run. All sales are final. Vehicles maybe viewed at Bldg. SP-123 from 1000 - 1300 on the Monday & Friday prior to the day of the auction. Registration will start at 1000 on the day of the auction at auction site. Auction will start at 1200 at the direction of the auctioneer.

Thu, Mar 8 - RC Drift Night, HobbyTown USA Virginia Beach VA, 4 - 7:00 pm, 4000 Virginia Beach Blvd., Ste. 196, Virginia Beach. Join us every Tuesday & Thursday for indoor RC Drift Night! Fri, Mar 9 - Friday Night Lights, HobbyTown Scaletopia RC Drift Lounge, 3 - 11:00 pm, 12761 Jefferson Ave., Newport News. Join us for an all-night drift session starting at 3 pm! Track will be open until at least 11 pm. All drivers must sign in at HobbyTown by 8 pm unless you already have a monthly membership. Entry fee is $10 for the night. Or free if you have a monthly membership. RWD and AWD drift cars are both welcome to slide. All skill levels are welcome too!  Tandem competition will start at 9 pm. Spec tire is Yokomo Asphalt tire. RWD must run these in the rear for tandems. Awards and prizes for the winners! Track lights be go out after the tandem competition. Lighted body will be needed if you want to run after 9:30 pm!  Spread the word and come get sideways!!

This is an informal cruise-in for enthusiast of all makes, models and years, cars and trucks the second Saturday each month from to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Note: Coffee and tables available at Uno on the patio. Rainout date is always the next Sunday with good weather. Please follow this short, but strongly enforced set of rules: No revving, no Burnouts, no loud music, no parking in loading/fire zones, no double parking. Please be respectful of everyone most of all.

Our Sunday gathering hits on both of those requests. $3/car. Come hang out with us and the Java Surf Crew. Features ample parking (no parking in spots for the Massage Lux Spa). Sat, Mar 24 - (4th Sat) Cars & Coffee Norfolk, Norfolk Uno Pizzeria & Grill, 9 - 11:00 am, JANAF Shopping Center, Military Hwy & VA Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Rat Rods? Mustangs? Minis? Camaros? Bring your vehicle (Cars, motorcycle, or bicycle) out to Uno's in Norfolk on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-11 am. Proceeds from all your food and beverage purchases bill go towards The Joy Fund as long as you let your wait staff know. Meetup starts at 9 am. Suggestions, ideas and all cars are welcome! Sun, Mar 25 - Rent-A-Lift Open House, 12 - 5:00 pm, Hosted by Rent A Lift and Team Xclusive Motorsports, 5724 Sellger Dr., Norfolk. Come out Sunday, March 25 as we host the Rent-A-Lift open house! Come check out the shop and see how they make working on your own vehicle so easy! Staff will be on-site to give tours and schedule appointments for you to come back and install parts on your own. If you aren't brave enough to risk it on your own there are ASE certified technicians that can help you along the way! Free for all ages! Food and drinks will be provided! We will see you there!

Sat, Mar 3 - MPOY Car Show at the Langley Speedway, 3165 N Armistead Ave, Hampton. Every year we put on the Maintenance Professional of the Year Banquet to recognize all of the stellar maintainers of the 1st Maintenance Group. Bring your ride out to the Langley Speedway on March 3rd to help us raise money! All vehicles welcome! Classes TBD. Tentative rain date will be March 4th. General admittance is free but donations are welcome at the gate! Spectator parking will be in the main parking lot at the Speedway. Registration for the show will be first come first serve until track space has ran out. Cost will be $20 per vehicle. This will gain entrance into the track for judging. Track gates close at 10 AM and will not reopen until the show is over so get there early!  Concessions will be available. We are still working a few details to make this a great event, including possible raffle prizes so mark your calendars!

Sat, Mar 10 - Winterfest Finale Car Show and NSPL Bass Off, Hosted by 757 Auto Events and East Coast Family Organization, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Military Circle Mall, Norfolk. WINTERFEST FINALE!! Join us on the "LAST STOP" of the Winter Cruise! 757 Auto Events is hosting your car show with the help of the East Coast Family at Military Circle Mall In Norfolk. This is the final stop of our Winter Cruise Tour. Coloring contest, Club Games, Individual challenges with awards. Sat, Mar 17 - York High School Car Show 2018, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, York High School, 9300 George Washington Memorial Hwy., Yorktown. Each year, York High School PTSA hosts a Car Show to benefit the yearly After-Prom for our graduating class. The event brings Cars, Trucks and Folks from miles around to kick-off the Car Show season and is a great time for everyone.

Sat, Mar 17 - Sumospeed Night Moves 2018, Beach Sportsplex and Regional Training Center, 7:00 pm, 2044 Landstown Centre Way, Virginia Beach. Our 2018 Night Moves season will be running from March until November with this meets this year on Fridays and Saturdays. Come out and see some awesome local cars, network, eat some food, listen to some music, and partake in the activities we have planned through the year! We do have a cover charge for paved lot parking for the meets, and that price is once again $5. There is also a 300+ space gravel parking lot that is free to enter. Each month we will have a different title sponsor that will be hosting that month's meet and selecting criteria for free entry on their month, March is sponsored by Angel Motorsports. As always, we do have rules and regulations that we plead with our attendees to abide by to keep this meet going successfully, safely, and without issues. They are as follows: - No Burnouts - No excessive revving - No excessive music volume or bass - No speeding/racing in the lot - Respect other people's property in the lot - Pick up after yourselves and your pets - No alcohol - No other general jackassery. We do have VBPD on staff for these meets and if necessary, will utilize them to help intervene in situations involving the above criteria, but we hope to not have to and just ask everyone to act like mature adults. Fri-Sat, May 4-5 - Tidewater street rod association's 46 Annual Williamsburg Rod Run. This will be the 46th year we have hosted this event. Come out may 4th and 5 2018 and have a great family time. Keep your eyes peeled on Friday night the 4th as we take to the streets and cruise Williamsburg in style in vintage cars, Street rods and Muscle cars before arriving back at the visitors center for our annual car show. Sat/Sun, Mar 10/11 - Apexfest 4 High Performance Driving Education Event at NCCAR, hosted by Apex Track Events 
North Carolina’s Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR), 310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, North Carolina. 
Apex Track Events and Motogladiator will host a joint Track Day Event on North Carolina’s Center for Automotive Research’s road course (NCCAR / NCBIKE). This road course is ideally situated in Garysburg, NC and features a 40 feet wide bi-directional freshly paved road course with a ½ mile straightaway, 11 constant radius turns and large grassy run-off areas. There is no competition for times or trophies but a lot of fun to be had. Virtually any car is fully capable of handling this type of event. You must have a valid driver's license to attend. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. All you need to bring is this and a Snell SA2010 or later helmet. (A limited amount of loaner helmets will be available at a first come, first served basis.)

National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Mid-Atlantic 
Founded in 2000, we are an autosport events company servicing the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Our goal is to provide a variety of legal, organized, safety-minded road-racing and education-based high performance driving experiences for as many sports car enthusiasts as possible.

Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) - Old Dominion Region 
Part of the Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Our Region includes all of the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surrounding cities. We primarily host two types of events: Solo (Auto Cross) and Road Rally.

Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Dominion Raceway & Entertainment is a multipurpose facility located on "America's Main Street", I-95. Located between Washington DC and Richmond VA the complex includes: a two-mile road course, a 4/10ths mile paved NASCAR oval, 1/8th mile drag strip, festival concert venue and more. We are back again this year and ready for a bigger and better year than last season. Come out on our true never prepped track for some true street 1/8 mile action. Sun, Mar 18 / Dominion TrackCross #1, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm / This is a full-day fast autocross on a twisty section of road course with no cones and no work assignments – rain or shine. It is perfect for those who enjoyed our Track Attack and want to try the next step: wide open track as fast as they can safely drive it against the clock in short bursts. Entry is just $99. Registration is limited to 80 cars (two long 40-car-maximum heats in the morning then each group again in the afternoon) so everyone gets plenty of runs.
