Sat, Mar 4 - Morning Cruise In at the Cornhole for the Cure tournament, hosted by Southeastern Virginia Mustang Club, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Norfolk Collegiate High school, 7336 Granby Street, Norfolk. A morning cruise in will be held on March 4th for the Cornhole for the Cure tournament from 8am-12pm. Local news should be there so we may get to see our cars on the news as they roll through the lot. ESPN will also be there covering the tournament. Cavalier ford will be sending a few cars over as well. The Pro Cornhole players will start around 8 am or so. Open competition starts around 11 am. There will be food and beer for sale inside.

Sat, Mar 11 - Tidewater Region AACA Annual Swap Meet, VB Military Aviation Museum, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, 1341 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. The TRAACA 2017 Annual Swap Meet promises to be the biggest ever, with extensive advertisement and promotional activities. As one of the only Winter events for car collectors  and enthusiasts in the Tidewater area, it attracts a wide variety of customers and vendors. Access to the swap meet is free. Individuals desiring access to the Military Air Museum will need to pay the normal Museum admission fee. Sumospeed presents season 3 of Night Moves meets at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. As with last year, there will be an entry cover of $5.00 for the meet. This helps us cover rental of the property, bathrooms, and other features of the event. For 2017 we again will have Dj El Capone playing music each night, HobbyTown USA Virginia Beach VA on site each month with some RC drift action and of course Sumospeed with event merchandise for you to purchase. Chops Creative will be there yet again for our official Night Moves coverage this season. Sat-Sun, Apr 1-2 - ApexFest 2: Two Day Open Track Event, NCCAR, hosted by Apex Track Events, 310 Technology Dr., Garysburg, North Carolina. 
This is our first event of 2017! We will update more information as we get closer to the event. On April 1st and 2nd 2017, Apex Track Events will host ApexFest 2, a two day High Speed Driving Event on North Carolina’s Center for Automotive Research’s road course. This road course is ideally situated in Garysburg, NC, so it is an ideal location for people from Raleigh, Richmond, and Hampton Roads to attend. The track is a 40 feet wide bi-directional freshly paved road course with a ½ mile straightaway, 11 constant radius turns and large grassy run-off areas. There is no competition for times or trophies but a lot of fun to be had. Virtually any car is fully capable of handling this type of event. You will be able to download a technical inspection form that your personal mechanic will perform before you leave home. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.  http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/
