Wed, Aug 31 - Franklin Cruise-In, Every Wed thru Sep 14, 5:00 pm until sundown, parking lot in front of the Fire Station, Downtown Franklin. This is a family friendly environment for everyone. NEW THIS YEAR: We will have 3 classes of vehicles at registration. Under 1972 cars and trucks; 1972 and newer cars and trucks; Motorcycle (2 and 3 wheeled vehicles). One ticket per vehicle/per class given each week for a chance to win the Grand Finale Prize Money. We want to encourage all car and motorcycle enthusiasts to join us in beautiful downtown Franklin. Fri, Sep 2 - Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers: Let’s Talk Cars, Truck, & Motorcycles, 5:30 pm, Main Street Center, Gloucester. Yes, MPCC has moved the cruise-in back to FRIDAY! The cruise-in is from 6 pm to 30 minutes after dusk Friday nights to October 14, 2016. Donations of $1.00 or more is asked to help support the donations MPCC provides to local organizations and charities. The cruise-in is open at all makes, models, and years. Weekly Cruiser of the Week trophies will be awarded!

A great car meet isn’t made by the creator, it’s made by the people. The more of you that show up, the better the meet! As always, we don’t want the meets to end. So that means no excessive revving and no excessive bass. If you want to show your friends your new exhaust, sure go ahead, a little rev or two. Same goes with bass. Sumospeed presents season 2 of Night Moves meets at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. This month’s sponsor is Longshots Darts And Billiards. This year’s event will feature a car show with 200 display vehicles with 20 top pick awards, music, food, vendors, as well as giveaways. Prize money has been raised to $3000.00 for 2016; $1000.00 per class! A craft fair, car corral, and auto related extravaganza will also be available. Starting at sundown, the movie Deuce Coupe will be shown on the big screen. This movie was made in Franklin and surrounding areas. Many of the cars that frequent the Cruise-In were also in the movie. Sat, Sep 17 - 29th Annual Mopar Madness, Virginia Motorsports Park, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, 8018 Boydton Plank Rd, Petersburg. MOPAR MADNESS will be held at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie. The Modern Street Hemi Shootout will be running on mainly on Friday, September 16th and also on Saturday 17th. Saturday will be the all-Mopar day with drag racing, Mopar Test and Tune start at 9 am and Mopar Time runs start at Noon. Come enjoy cool old cars and old planes at the TRAACA 24th Annual Meet “Wings & Wheels” Car Show. Open to all 1991 and older cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Our Region includes all of the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surrounding cities. We primarily host two types of events: Solo (Auto Cross) and Road Rally.
