Fri-Sun, May 6-8 - Chevrolet Monsters On the Beach, The Oceanfront at 5th Street Beach Stage and 6th Street, Virginia Beach. Monsters are taking over the beach at Chevrolet Monsters on the Beach, presented by Pungo Off Road! This wildly-popular event brings thrills and chills to the Virginia Beach oceanfront as monster trucks battle for ultimate sand domination! This family-targeted event is loud, fast, and exciting. A course is built right on the beach at 6th Street, with bleachers overlooking from the boardwalk. Sun, May 22 - Stop the 22 Auto Show, Density Vapor, 12 - 5:00 pm, 701 N. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake. This event is to raise awareness to the “Stop The 22” organization, and to let vets and active military members know there is help. And what better way to do so than with our passions? Cars, people. Cars. And thanks to the people at Density Vapors we are hosting the first of, hopefully many, annual charity car shows. We will have vendors, prize raffles, a 50/50 draw, and live music. The Porsche Club of America First Settlers Region desires the comfort of good friends and good conversation, and we praise to a fault the world’s finest automobile. With those attributes, our club has grown to over 600 Active Members throughout Virginia. We race each other, show our prized possessions, conduct rallies, autocrosses and tours. The Club sponsors driver education, restoration and technical sessions. We know our Porsche, or Porsches if we’re lucky, inside and out. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Representing a new model for Motorsports facilities and Entertainment venues. Dominion Raceway & Entertainment is a multipurpose facility located on “America’s Main Street”, I-95. Located between Washington DC and Richmond VA the complex includes: a two-mile road course, a 4/10ths mile paved NASCAR oval, 1/8th mile drag strip, festival concert venue and more. Richmond International Raceway (RIR)
Known as America’s Premier Short Track, RIR offers great night racing action and a commitment to the fan experience. One of the most popular facilities among drivers and fans in all of motorsports, Richmond International Raceway annually hosts two NASCAR Doubleheader weekends, featuring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series, under the lights on a ¾-mile D-Shaped oval. The unique layout traditionally produces exciting side-by-side racing, yet drivers reach high enough speeds for a superspeedway feel. Combined with first-class amenities and a focus on the fans, guests at Richmond International Raceway can expect to experience what “Racing Perfection” truly is.

The ToyotaCare 250 and Toyota Owners 400 highlight the April weekend at RIR, but there’s some excellent on-track action on Friday, April 22 as well! See both series take to America’s Premier Short Track for practice, and see who’ll start out front on Sunday’s race with Sprint Cup Pole Qualifying.
