Thu, Jan 8 - (Weekly) Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.

Sat, Jan 10 - Bringin' The Heat Car, Truck and Bike Show, 3 - 7:00 pm, Presented by Tint World, 658 J Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News. This will be a car , truck and bike show. Open to all makes and models. There will be 20 classes and 10 Best of awards presented. $20 per vehicle and $40 per vehicle for Vip indoor or store front parking which includes a Vip exclusive gift. Vip participants must submit 3 photos and a brief description of the vehicle prior to acceptance of the vehicle into the Vip section. We will post where to submit your vehicle in a separate post along with the classes. A food vendor will be onsite along with a DJ. Spaces are limited so this will be a first come first serve event. Give a ways and a raffles will be done as well. Must be present to win.

Part of the SCCA's Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Our Region includes all the cities in the Hampton Roads area as well as several surrounding cities. We primarily host two types of events: Solo (Auto Cross) and Road Rally.

Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Wacky Wednesdays

Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on a weeknights while still ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun!
