Thu, Jan 30 - (Weekly) Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.

Sat, Mar 29 - 7th Annual George E Smith Memorial Car Show and Swap Meet, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3388 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Join us as we celebrate the memory of a local car enthusiast who passed away December 28, 2018. George was a vital part of the Landstown Cruise-Ins, and we are proud to remember him with an annual event. George also served on the board of the Beachcomber Corvette Club served as the president of the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads. This will be an all years, makes, and models event with awards. Beach Restomods is hosting a Swap Meet in the lot in conjunction with the show benefitting charity! Portion of proceeds will benefit a charity that George believed in, the Southeastern Food Bank. We will be accepting all non perishable food items for the food bank. Proceeds will also benefit the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads as we work on improved events for all of our attendees.
Sat, Apr 12 - The Mustang Club of Tidewater’s Annual Spring Fling Mustang Birthday Car Show, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, Cavalier Ford Greenbrier - 1515 S. Military Highway, Chesapeake. This is a Participant's Choice show, with 25 Participant’s Choice awards, and 3 top awards for Best in Show, Dealer’s Choice, and Club Participation. Open to all years, makes and models of passenger cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This is a family friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids so they can enjoy the show! There is no charge for spectators, but they must park adjacent to the show as directed. There will be food vendors on-site and hot dogs & chips provided by Cavalier Ford. 50/50 tickets will be sold during the show with a winner chosen during awards. Please be respectful of our host, Cavalier Ford Greenbrier. NO loud music/bass, engine revving, or exhibitions of speed at or departing the show by attendees. Registration is payment is $25.00 + two cans of non-perishable food per vehicle. The food will be donated to a local food bank, so please be generous.

Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on a weeknights while still ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun!
