Wed, May 15 - (Weekly) 2024 Franklin Cruise-In, 4:30 - 7:30 pm, Main Street Parking Lot in front of the Fire Station, downtown Franklin. Join us for the 2024 Franklin Cruise-In season. Weekly cruise-ins will continue each Wednesday until October 5, 2023. The Franklin Independence Day Celebration with the City of Franklin and Franklin Experience will be on Wednesday, July 3rd with fireworks and a live band. The Grand Finale will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Wed, May 15 - (Weekly) Doumars cruise-in, 6 - 8:00 pm, Hosted by The Mustang and Ford Association of Virginia, Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave., Norfolk. We are back at Doumar’s, all are invited! Please join us for some cars at a weekly cruise-in every Wednesday night. They are open during these hours, so enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice cream and handmade cones! Be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, and no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot.
Thu, May 16 - (Weekly) Thursday Night Cruise-In at the DQ, 3:00 pm - ?, 4024 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. So if you're not doing anything on Thursday afternoons get those cars out and come up to DQ. You can go in and order food and bring it out to eat. Make sure you bring a chair because they've taken the tables and chairs in. People start getting there around 2:00 and hang out for 3-4 hours or so. The weather is starting to get nice and there's not a whole lot of places we can go. This is one of the few places we can.
Fri, May 17 - (Weekly) Friday Night Hardee's Cruise-Ins, 4 - 8:00 pm, Hardee's at 7007 George Washington Hwy (Route 17), Gloucester. We will be having Friday Night Cruise-ins from 4-8 pm. At this time, the restaurant is open for take-out orders only. Come on out and see some cool cars and hang out with other car folks.

Reiterating what's been talked lately about how work having picked up for me and wanting to come back out again, we are now switching to Friday nights, come on out and have a good time, trying get the dust off the camera with the sun being out for a good bit at the start and need some new photos for the flyers. As always respect the spot, it's been weeks since I've been able to come out and don't want to show up just to see some ding dongs being ding dongs ruining it. Our 2024 Cruise-In season will begin on Saturday, April 13 and run through October 12. Open to all years, all makes, and all models. If it’s cool, bring it. It is only a $2.00 donation to show your vehicle. There is no admission fee for spectators. All cruise-in donations are donated to local charities. It is a great place to look at some great rides, share memories, see your old friends, and make some new ones. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.

Wacky Wednesdays are our premier midweek street car racing event. Any street-legal car with current inspection tags is eligible for competition. Registration and spectator gates open at 6 PM with the drivers meeting just after 7 PM and competition beginning shortly after. Racing is usually complete by 10:00, providing great family fun on a weeknights while still ending at a decent hour. Coolers and outside food are allowed in the grandstands during the events and video/photography is encouraged! Come out and join the fun!
