Wed, May 15 - Doumar's Weekly Cruise in, 7 - 9:00 pm, Doumar's Cones & Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave., Norfolk. Please join us for a weekly cruise-in, every Wednesday night from 7-9pm at Doumar's in Norfolk. Please note they are open during these hours to enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice-cream and handmade cones! *Most of all, please be on your absolute best behavior at their facility, as they have been kind enough to allow us to hold this event there. This means- be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot. Come on out and join a collaboration of local car clubs for a weekly summer meet every Thursday evening in Norfolk. Please follow the normal rules on conduct, and enjoying hanging out with members from the local car scene.

Fri, May 17 - Friday Night Cruz Thru, 5 - 8:00 pm, Shorty's Diner, 627 Merrimac Trl., Williamsburg. It’s that time, our Friday Night Cruz Thrus are BACK and Better than ever. Shorty's will now be Open ALL DAY 6 am to 8 pm on Fridays thru the September! More time to make it in for All of your favorites like our Local Catfish Special served ALL Day and the classic car show starting at 5 pm. Also the SWEET SIDE will be open on Friday nights serving up ALL your favorite ice cream, Sno Ball and sweet dessert items. This is Going to be our Best Summer Yet!

Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers will hold a weekly cruise in begins at 5:30 pm until dusk (weather permitting). All years, makes and models welcome. Fri, May 17 - Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In, 6 - 8:00 pm, Sentara St. Luke's, Carrollton. The 11th Annual Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In will be through October 18 on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Big Daddy's Pitmaster BBQ will be our food vendor this year and DJ Tom  Norris will be back spinning the tunes. So come on out and enjoy some good music, good food, and see some really cool cars. Cars & Coffee in Great Bridge is a gathering of car enthusiasts the third Saturday each month from 8-10 am to talk cars and share a cup of coffee at Great Bridge United Methodist Church. Sat, May 18 - Venomous Works Detail Class, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, 326 Old York Hampton Hwy., unit I, Yorktown. Professional detail Class- we will teach you every aspect of cleaning a car from exterior detail, full detail, engine bay, stain removal, headlight restoration, polishing chrome, paint correction and may even throw in 1 complimentary ceramic coating so you can see the process. $100 dollars for the class-  snacks, drinks, coffee and lunch will be provided. This is an informal cruise-in for enthusiast of all makes, models and years, cars and trucks the second Saturday each month from to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Note: Coffee and tables available at Uno on the patio. Rainout date is always the next Sunday with good weather. Please follow this short, but strongly enforced set of rules: No revving, no Burnouts, no loud music, no parking in loading/fire zones, no double parking. Please be respectful of everyone most of all.

Sat, May 18 - Grand Reopening Drift Fest, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, HobbyTown, 12761 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News. Our drift track remodel is finished and it is time to celebrate! Join us on Saturday, May 18th for an all-day RC drift fest and celebration! Event will kick off at 10am. Entry fee will be $20 for the day, or $10 if you are a monthly member. Entry fee includes all day drifting on our new track, food and drink provided by HobbyTown, entry into the RC body competition, and one entry into our product raffle. 10 am - Doors open, pay entry fee inside HobbyTown.

Sat, May 18 - Landstown Commons Cruise In, 4 - 8:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3334 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Saturday night cruise-in happening every Saturday night from April through October 2019 at Landstown Commons Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. Live DJ music with DVC Entertainment. All makes, years, and models encouraged to attend. Bring out your work in progress and share what you’re working on! Donation of $2 per vehicle to display as part of the Cruise-In. Free spectator parking and attendance. End of year proceeds are donated to the charities of the hosting car clubs choice. This is a well-organized and laid-back event with something for everyone to enjoy!

Sat, May 18 - Classic Cruiser’s cruise-in, 5 - 9:00 pm, Coastal Community Church, 101 Village Avenue, Yorktown. The 2019 Classic Cruiser’s cruise-in will take place every Saturday night beginning April 13 thru October 19. It is open to all years, all makes, and all models. If it’s cool, bring it. It is only a $2.00 donation to show your vehicle. There is no admission fee for spectators. All cruise-in donations are donated to charity. It is a great place to listen to some great tunes played by our DJs, look at some great rides, see your old friends, and make some new ones. Sat, May 18 - GenRight 4x4 Night, 5:30 pm, Hotrodders Cafe, 1457 Mount Pleasant Rd., Ste. 109, Chesapeake. A great event to come and hang out with some local jeepers/off-roaders and check out some awesome jeeps, talk about your build, and any upcoming wheeling trips. Oh and the food is always good!

Sat, May 18 - Lucid Nights, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Hosted by Lucid Alliance Auto Club, Detail Garage (Virginia Beach), 4239 Holland Rd., Suite #772, Virginia Beach. As a tribute to National Armed Forces Day this year, admission cost is a donation of AT LEAST TWO small handheld American Flags. These flags will be placed on the graves of our Fallen Soldiers, or donated to local families who would like to place them themselves for Memorial Day the following weekend. We will be selling hotdogs and drinks on site. As expected, we will have a Most Generous Donation Trophy and a Most Rep Club Trophy, as well as a surprise trophy.

Sun, May 19 - East Coast Family Organization Spring Cookout and Open Meet Up 2019, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Northside Park, 8401 Tidewater Dr., Norfolk. Join the East Coast Family for the spring session of our community cookout. This is open to all car/truck/bike enthusiast individuals and clubs. We ask your club to bring something to share, or purchase  wristbands for $3 to access food and drinks. 12 and under free. Please bring out your families. We will have club games for the adults, as well as plenty of kid's activities to keep our families occupied.  Corn hole and Kick ball tournament (as weather permits). Egg Hunt for the kids. Be sure to bring chairs and a shade tent for your club. This will be a drama free zone with adult behavior.

We have partnered with our friends at Sumospeed once again to bring the biggest RC drifting event in Virginia to Springfest 2019!! We'll be setting up a 1/10th scale drift track in the indoor showroom and hosting a RC drifting demo and competition during the car show. Anyone is welcome to get sideways on the drift track and compete in the drift competition. Prizes and awards for the winners! Drift track and competition are FREE! Sat, Jul 13 - Sumospeed Shirts Off Dudes On Charity Car Wash, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, Detail Garage Virginia Beach, 4239 Holland Rd., Suite #772, Virginia Beach. As you may, or may not know, we lost a good friend and team mate of ours, Stephen James, to brain cancer back in 2015, and he still is present with us in spirit. We've wanted to host an event for a while to honor him and help contribute to a cause that can help others battling the same challenges he bravely faced in his final years. Please come join our team on Saturday, July 13th, for our first annual team car wash. Our members will be hand washing vehicles all day for donations, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the American Brain Tumor Association, and organization suggested to us by Stephen's family for this event. We will post details as they come but we would love to see you out! HUGE shout out to Detail Garage for hosting us and providing supplies for the event!

Sat, May 25 - Flags for the Fallen Auto Show, 12 - 3:00 pm, Hosted by Lucid Alliance Auto Club, PBR Hampton, 1976 Power Plant Pkwy, Hampton. Lucid Alliance Auto Club and PBR Hampton invite you to our Memorial Day Auto Show. On this day we will honor our fallen Brothers and Sisters in Arms. We will be taking donations of small handheld flags at the show. These flags will be placed on the local graves of our fallen heroes by the members and family of Lucid Alliance and local volunteers. We hope that you all come out to celebrate with us and have an amazing time doing what Auto enthusiasts do best, and that’s admiring the hard work and dedication that every owner has put into their work of art! There will be classes for ALL masterpieces! Whether you’re on 2 wheels or 16, we can’t wait to see you! We will also have trophies for Most Rep Club, which will be open to all who DONATE FLAGS, but all members must sign in at the registration table to be counted! Sun, May 26 - Openwide Performance Presents: Cars Against Cancer for Kate, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Hosted by 757 Auto Events, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3334 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Cancer has affected all of our lives, and this show will benefit a local family battling Colon Cancer. We are looking for all forms of support for this event. All event proceeds benefit  this local family. Make plans to stop by, or spend the day with us for a judged car show with 40+ awards. This event is free and open to spectators, and we will be accepting donations throughout the day towards our fundraiser. 757 Auto Events will be emceeing/hosting the event, and we will have our coloring station available for our visiting artists. Openwide Performance will be judging the event. Vendor Spots are available for $30 - 10X10 booth space and 1 display car. Non Profit Booth Space $15.


Mon, May 27 - The 2019 Memorial Day Car Show9:00 am - 3:00 pm, hosted by the Classic Cruisers Car Club (CCCC), Coastal Community Church, 101 Village Ave., Yorktown. The event is free to the public and is open to all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Trophies include Top 40, Best in Show, Kid’s Choice, and GME Choice. We will also have raffle items, 50/50, DJ, and Vendors. Goody Bags and Dash Plaques to the 1st 100 Registered. Registration fee is $20. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We also host higher speed time trials at regional tracks such as North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.
