Fri, Dec 1 - Friday Night Lights, HobbyTown Scaletopia RC Drift Lounge, 3 - 11:00 pm, 12761 Jefferson Ave., Newport News. Join us for an all night drift session starting at 3 pm! Track will be open until at least 11 pm. All drivers must sign in at HobbyTown by 8 pm unless you already have a monthly membership. Entry fee is $10 for the night. Or free if you have a monthly membership. RWD and AWD drift cars are both welcome to slide. All skill levels are welcome too! Tandem competition will start at 9 pm. Spec tire is Yokomo Asphalt tire. RWD must run these in the rear for tandems. Awards and prizes for the winners! Track lights be go out after the tandem competition. Lighted body will be needed if you want to run after 9:30 pm! Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.
