Wed, Jun 20 - Franklin Cruise-In, 5 - 8:00 pm, Main Street Parking Lot in Downtown Franklin. The 2018 Franklin Cruise-In season will be running every Wednesday through September 5. Open to all antiques, classics, customs, motorcycles, and modern vehicles. FREE to all participants and spectators. FREE entry to win $3000 (3 - $1000 categories of vehicles) with participating vehicle. FREE hot dogs from Fred's Restaurant with participating vehicle. Weekly 50/50 raffle drawing.

Wed, Jun 20 - Slot Car Racing, HobbyTown USA Virginia Beach VA, 6 - 8:00 pm, 4000 Virginia Beach Blvd., Ste. 196, Virginia Beach. It's race time! Join us every Wednesday for slot car racing on our computerized 1/32nd scale slot car track. Just bring out your own car and controller and have some fun! Event is free and open to all skill levels. 

Wed, Jun 20 - Doumar's Weekly Cruise-In, Hosted by The Mustang and Ford Association of Virginia, 7:00 pm, Doumar's Cones and Barbecue, 1919 Monticello Ave, Norfolk. Please join us for a weekly cruise-in, every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm at Doumar's in Norfolk. Please note they are open during these hours to enjoy all the great eats and drinks they provide, including their amazing ice-cream and handmade cones! *Most of all, please be on your absolute best behavior at their facility, as they have been kind enough to allow us to hold this event there. This means- be kind, clean up after yourselves, no excessive revving, no burnouts and do not speed off when leaving their parking lot. We want to continue to be welcome there, and these are some extremely nice folks. Those who do not follow the rules will be asked to not come back.* That being said, bring your family and friends out, and enjoy a week night with some great cars and wonderful people!

Fri, Jun 22 - Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers presents Let's Talk Cars cruise-in, 6:00 pm, White Marsh Shopping Center, 4900 George Washington Memorial Hwy., Hayes. The cruise-in is from 6 pm to 30 minutes after dusk Friday nights from April 13 to October 19, 2018. No fee to attend, but donations are accepted to help support the donations MPCC provides to local organizations and charities. The cruise-in is open at all makes, models, and years. Weekly Cruiser of the Week trophies will be awarded!

Bring your vehicle (Cars, motorcycle, or bicycle) out to Uno's in Norfolk on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-11 am. Proceeds from all your food and beverage purchases bill go towards The Joy Fund as long as you let your wait staff know. Meetup starts at 9 am. Suggestions, ideas and all cars are welcome! Please, no burnouts or loud music. Coffee and tea will be provided free of charge.

Sat, Jun 23 - Landstown Commons All Car Cruise In, 4 - 8:00 pm, Landstown Commons Shopping Center, 3300 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach. Come on out for this weekly charity driven event each Saturday through Oct 26th. Sponsored by the Virginia Chevy Lovers, Custom Classic Corvette Club, Beachcombers Corvette Club, the Independent Fire Company and American Do It Yourself Garage. These will be held in the same area as last year (Behind Finn McCool's). We'll be having discount food coupons from the restaurants in the shopping center for all participants. Come out and enjoy the camaraderie of getting together with other car enthusiasts and see some real nice cars.

Come join us at the Red Mill Commons Cruise in at Red Mill Commons in Virginia Beach, behind Wendy's and Chili's. Broke Boys Auto Club will be hosting this event. $2.00 donation per car to enter and goes to charity, Free to spectators. DJ VinLo will be playing tunes and rockin' the parking lot. Merchant coupons to various restaurants and stores will be handed out. 50/50 raffle as well.

Fri, Jul 6 - (1st Fri) Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In, 6 - 8:00 pm, Sentara St. Luke's, Rt 10/32 & 258 Brewer's Neck Rd., Carrollton. Mark your calendars for the 10th year of the Smithfield Lions Club Cruz-In. The Cruz-Ins will be held on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month through October. All years/types of vehicles welcome! $2 donation to show car (benefiting Lions Charities). Season passes available: $25. Spectators free. We will have a DJ (Tom Norris), food vendor (BBQ), and 50/50 raffle. There will be a featured car club at each event. Fri, Jul 13 - Sumospeed Night Moves sponsored by Sound Wave Customs, 7 - 10:00 pm, Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Regional Training Center, 2044 Landstown Centre Way, Virginia Beach. We will be running from March until November with this meets this year on Fridays and Saturdays. Come out and see some awesome local cars, network, eat some food, listen to some music, and partake in the activities we have planned through the year! We do have a cover charge for paved lot parking for the meets, and that price is once again $5.00. There is also a 300+ space gravel parking lot that is free to enter. As always, we do have rules and regulations that we plead with our attendees to abide by to keep this meet going successfully, safely, and without issues. They are as follows: No Burnouts; No excessive revving; No excessive music volume or bass; No speeding/racing in the lot; Respect other people's property in the lot; Pick up after yourselves and your pets; No alcohol; No other general jackassery. We do have VBPD on staff for these meets and if necessary, will utilize them to help intervene in situations involving the above criteria, but we hope to not have to and just ask everyone to act like mature adults. This is an informal cruise-in for enthusiast of all makes, models and years, cars and trucks the second Saturday each month from to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Note: Coffee and tables available at Uno on the patio. Rainout date is always the next Sunday with good weather. Please follow this short, but strongly enforced set of rules: No revving, no Burnouts, no loud music, no parking in loading/fire zones, no double parking. Please be respectful of everyone most of all. 

Sat, Jul 21 - Sumospeed Yahtzee Cruise 2018, 12 - 6:00 pm, Stock or Modified Bodyworks, 3476 Chandler Creek Rd., Virginia Beach. After a four year hiatus, Sumospeed is bringing back a poker run style event to the Hampton Roads area. For those that remember, we ran Yahtzee and Poker runs for quite a few years and had great success with them, but the last couple saw an attendance drop so we stopped running them. We've decided to give them another a shot this year, using the Yahtzee format, and hope you'll join us! Registration for this event is $25 per person. Online registration will include an event tee shirt, regular registration will not, but the price is no different, so there is definitely a bonus in registering online. Hosted by ClearShine Virginia, Coastal Virginia Auto Show, Car Club Council of Hampton Roads, and 757 Auto Events. Our beneficiary family was blindsided by the cancer diagnosis, and this is our effort to support a fellow car enthusiast family. On April 16th 2018 Danielle was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), a type of blood and bone marrow cancer that progresses rapidly, at the age of 16...16 years old. We are looking for all forms of support for this event. Diamond Level Sponsor: Atco Hauling, ClearShine Virginia, Coastal Virginia Auto Show. Silver Level Sponsor: In His Image Photography, Godz Speed. Landstown is providing a live DJ, and they will supply Event Dash Plaques to the first 90 vehicles on show field. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event. This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross. This is a unique beginner-level driving experience designed to familiarize you with our road course and introduce basic high performance driving concepts. It includes classroom instruction with a professional driving coach and several 20-30 minute on track sessions in your car. Sessions feature paced laps for those who just want to experience what it's like on a real road course with no helmets and no passing.
