Fri, Jan 6 - Friday Night Lights, HobbyTown Scaletopia, 6 - 11:00 pm, 12761 Jefferson Ave., Newport News. Join us for an all night drift session starting at 6 pm! Track will be open until at least 11 pm. Entry fee is $10 for the night. Or free if you already have a monthly membership. RWD and AWD drift cars are both welcome to slide. All skill levels are welcome too!! Best looking scale body on the track scores a prize courtesy of HobbyTown. Lights are a must if you want to win! Come out and get sideways.
Sat, Jan 7 - Automotive Social and Recruitment Meet, Hosted by RatchetHouse Innovations, Vape Xotix III, 8 - 11:30 pm, 4221 Pleasant Valley Rd., Suite 127, Virginia Beach. It’s a laid back environment where car enthusiasts can meet, show off their work and bounce ideas back and forth. Everyone is welcome Cars, Trucks, Bikes, Etc. It is also the local spot for Ratchet House Innovations recruitment. We are a car club who enjoys the passion of the street scene, we are a drama free help by any means type of family. This is an organized but casual gathering of car enthusiasts ($3 per car), normally the first Saturday each month to talk cars and share a cup of coffee. Hosted by Java surf Café & Espresso Bar, at La Promenade Shops in the West Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, which features ample parking (no parking in spots for the Massage Lux Spa). Time to cruise to Coinjock and have a cookout at Jim Rose’s house. We will first meet at Abuelo’s at Greenbrier Mall then cruise to meet up with the everyone else at the Border Station. From there we will drive to see the Gravedigger, then cruise around the sound, and finally end up at Jim Rose’s house for a cookout. Tidewater Sports Car Club (TSCC)
Founded in Norfolk Virginia in 1953, TSCC has a strong foundation within the local Hampton Roads autocross community and surrounding areas. Our autocross season runs from March through November with championship series events typically taking place on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  We usually host a novice autocross school early in the season on the Saturday before our Sunday event.  This is a great opportunity for new participants to get involved with autocross.  We also host higher speed time trials at Academi and North Carolina Center for Automotive Research.  http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/

Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) - Old Dominion Region 
The Old Dominion Region (Number 63) is part of the Southeast Division (SEDiv), which consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
